Onboarding starts the moment the candidate accepts the offer and lasts through the first 90 days on the job. Onboarding improves performance. It shortens the time it takes a new employee to become acclimated to our culture, work styles and job expectations. The sooner our new employees can contribute fully, the better for our customers, the employee's experience and Best Buy. Program Objectives This program provides an end-to-end list of tasks and exercises which empower the new employee to contribute immediately. How To Use This Site This site contains everything you need to onboard successfully. The 0 to 90 Day Onboarding Plan, located in the Create the Plan section, contains everything you need to get started, including links to all the key documents and websites. It recommends what exercises or tasks should be done when and gives you space to check it off when you have finished so you can keep track of what you have accomplished. |
